People Development
Jim Collins in his book "Good to Great" says that
"People are not your most important asset. The right people
are." This is also our principle on people development.
We identify them, coach them, and recognize them so that they
can contribute their talents in their right role. Our manufacturing
team comprises of professionals in production, quality, and
logistics. They are energetic and dedicated and they have proven
records in their specific area of work. Since incorporated in
1991, PFT has been providing a work environment where we work
with mutual respect for each other. Our people are the most
important asset, lifting PFT off the ground and supporting the
company through good or bad times.
System
We put in place good systems to facilitate our people to fully
utilize their potentials and to make significant contributions.
Good systems ensure that we can deliver good quality product
consistently; good systems ensure that expertise and know-how
accumulated over the years can be passed along to the successors.
In 2000, PFT was awarded ISO9002:1994; and in 2003, we got
ISO9001:2000. The scope was further extended from manufacturing
to the entire work processes, including the design process.
Apart from enhancing PFT internal standard on environment
management, we also got ISO14001 in 2007. Various
kinds of IPC and MIL standards are implemented in our manufacturing
system. For example, we use IPC-A-610C for our finished product
acceptability check. Moreover, internal standards, research
reports, and guidelines have been issued for knowledge development.
Equipment
Our production lines are invested with the state-of-art SMT
manufacturing equipment such as fully automatic screen printing,
pick-and-place, optical inspection, and the like. They enable
us to offer a high throughput production for standard assembly,
lead-free assembly, and FBGA assembly. We have our own automation
development team to further enhance productivity and flexibility.
We have a wide range of in-house developed facilities such as
optical inspection and automatic testing handler.
